The best. I only give 4.5 stars because it ends so suddenly at a perfect place for the music to bloom.

deadlyfishes responds:

Originally it was for a short film clip... I would really like to expand on it more, thanks for the review!

Cheerful! Sounds great for a converted midi. :)

FlyingColours responds:

Haha, thanks!

Beautiful, inspiring, perfect. I think the person who voted low must not like music.

deadlyfishes responds:

Scores don't matter. There was some controversy behind some of the NATA entries here, but that is totally irrelevant to how good the music is, which is the most important thing. :3

This is so fun! The music sounds like the beginning of an adventure, when everybody's spirits are still high. :)

deadlyfishes responds:

Generally, that's what an Overture should do :)

Simple and simply beautiful. This tune and Midnight Ocean could be sibling tunes. (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/list en/400529)

bassfiddlejones responds:

Thank you, and thanks for taking the time to review - I'll have to check the other song out!

Beautiful! Shall I cry?

Great variation of instrument use from verse to verse.

bassfiddlejones responds:

Thank you :) Sorry if we made you cry!

Beautiful! (ERROR: Criticism not available. Either our critical servers are down or there is nothing to criticize. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.)

ALECXACE responds:

Why thank you!!!
:D

Cool. 3:31 and beyond is really cool, though I don't really understand it. I could see a high quality recording/mixing of all this being epic, with a nice full voice choir. :)

monkeycat responds:

Ha! I'm not sure I understand it much either;) glad you liked it, I would love someone to do a remix of this myself...

I'm amazed at how well the feel of the song fits the description...

But what if the aliens are animalistic wild natural resource consumers and are just coming to our solar system to absorb all the energy from our sun?

Sorry. :P

XayberOptix responds:

LOL! Well, have you ever wondered whether WE (i.e., humans) are the Aliens that landed here on earth tens of thousands of years ago to consume this planet of its resources? Think about all the gold we dug up not to mention the crude oil. At the rate we are going, the earth's natural resources could be depleted in front of our eyes! This could leave our children's children without much else left to enjoy.

Beautiful. I can see the crystal reflections, I can feel the rain. It's a bit cold, but not too cold.

NordicHazard responds:

i'm glad i could put the melody in the right way, thanks!

Half-baked coder, musician, and writer. Chronically ill. Possibly a vampire. I want chocolate.
