[Capital of Soot, revisited]

This is very beautiful and sad, but I do have a big complaint. The beginning instruments are far too quiet. I'm straining to hear them, while the foreground piano is actually hurting my ears. I'm listening with headphones.

I really really love the composition other than the volume difference.

Oooh, I really like this aura. The high notes at 00:30 and the clear echo at 00:40 were nice touches.

Man, I know the feeling. I try to save often, and sometimes save to new files in case a project becomes corrupted, because I've lost enough work from electronic shenanigans already. I'm glad to hear the surviving part of the work - it's certainly worth a download.

Yes! I love this song. Now I'm probably going to start singing it in the shower again. :D

Nice ornamentation in the vocals. Sometimes people go crazy with the ornamentation and it sounds awful, but you do it just right.

Man, I feel the climax, I feel the feels. Wonderful progression.

Also, I disagree with almost all of SkyeWintrest's complaints. :D The kick drum does have an awkward-sounding cutoff though, IMO, when it is standing "all alone" like it is in the first half of the song. It seems to work better around 03:40.
