Krichotomy's News

These ads are sooo annoying. It almost feels like they were made to annoy, not made to advertise. I'm certainly not going to click something so asinine and revulsive.

I discovered that there are some cool tracks in the Dragon Nest OST. I would particularly recommend track 97, "Fluttering Leaves from the Tree of Life":

You can actually download any of the tracks from the official website: http://dn.happyoz.com/media/music.asp

I'm considering changing my alias (artist name) from "Krichotomy" to "Karob". Though Krichotomy has significance to it, I really don't care for it anymore, and I've always felt weird when people addressed me as Krichotomy. I've used Karob for even longer than I've used Krichotomy, and I've only grown to love it more as an alias.

The downside is that "Krichotomy" is always avaliable while "Karob" is often already taken by another user of a web community. I suppose I might have to stoop low enough to append numbers to my name, or maybe I can augment it with a title such as "KarobMaestro", "LunyKarob", "deadlykarob", "SoundKarob", "BrokenKarob", "SourKarob", or "StepTwo". (yes, those are all jokes, but the concept is serious)

Your input would be hugely appreciated. I shall attempt to upload new music soon but, in the mean time, I will leave you with this image. Print it out and throw darts at it.

Paragon - a person or thing regarded as a perfect example of a particular quality.

I'm the paragon of starting one thing, but finishing something else. That's why there are still wet clothes in the washing mashine, I guess. That's why I keep alternating between drawing and writing and composing and can't really finish anything big. My focus shifts. It almost feels like my identity itself shifts.

I have a bachelor's degree in engineering, and I was halfway to getting a PhD as well, but I gave up because forcing myself to do the research was making me hate the things that I love, and even life itself. Now I'm recuperating but I'm still afraid of some of my hobbies like computer programming and intense math.

Anyway, when I joined Newgrounds, I was aiming to become the next ParagonX9. Huhuhuhuhuh. We see how far that went. But I turned into Krichotomy instead! And I like Krichotomy because he's cool and he's unique and he's me. :-) Anyway, here's a random picture of me solving for the roots of a 6th order polynomial.

So... I dreamt that there was a Newgrounds Flora Contest. :O

Also, there were college freshmen sitting on rooves and holding signs that read "Thinks seniors on rooves need counseling." and "Thinks if you're a freshman, and you haven't had counseling on a roof... You need counseling."

It is hard to keep in a productive routine. I was thinking about how to be maximally productive today and this image came to my mind, a "Super Productivity Frog" as the personal trainer for my mind.

One of my friends commented "Good to see he's not skipping out on leg day."

So I tried counting sheep.

They started flapping their flappy ears and flying into the sheep pen. Then, after counting about thirty, they started flying back out, and without even realizing it I was counting down. They were flying directly into a large rocket. I joined them and we flew in the rocket to the moon. Then they started moon jumping out of the rocket into a sheep pen. Except for one of them. I sat on his back and he started flapping his flappy ears and we flew off into space. I named him Lamborghini.

I did not, however, fall asleep.

I've moved to a new apartment, and here I am better able to focus on projects and responsibilities. I have trouble focusing and I have lots of headaches but it seems more manageable now. Hopefully I'll have a job soon. For now I'm busying myself trying to improve my story writing abilities because I have lots and lots of ideas and I just feel like I need to do something with them.

But enough about myself. How are YOU doing?

Is death just an ending, or also a beginning? Whenever you pass on, what legacy will you have left behind?

Here I play my original tune "Passing On" on a Tony Dixon Low D tinwhistle.
