Also, there were college freshmen sitting on rooves and holding signs that read "Thinks seniors on rooves need counseling." and "Thinks if you're a freshman, and you haven't had counseling on a roof... You need counseling."

Looks like clover, I live on a farm in the NE, and the air reeks of it :)

Yes, these are three different types of clover that I thought looked particularly well together. The large purple/pink ones seem to only grow in wet places. The white ones are everywhere. I picked all of them in Mississippi.
