I like it just how it is.

Indeed, it sounds good.

Hey! I was going to listen to Lavender Town remixes on Halloween night, but I forgot to. This is exactly the sort of freaky mix I was most hoping for. So... thanks! :D

Nice job hearkening very strongly to the original while blending the chippy sounds, the instruments, and the effects all together in a way that feels like it was meant to be.

That scream at the end made my heart jump!

Wow, that melody line (and its accompanying harmonies). So intense. If I played a game with background music like this, I think it would become my favorite game even if I didn't like it. :P

Calamaistr responds:

thank you, i made over 500 tracks on this medium (music for the playstation®, thats a game') sadly i couldnt convert all of them back then, i wasnt technical enough and 90% of the tracks i did try to convert didnt come over right, thankfully about 30 did. Theres a few more of that era on my profile here and there. Dunno why i never uploaded this one before though, it definately is nice. (if you dont mind the instrumental quality being 'low, then again it has its charm)

What a fascinating and unusual composition! I can feel a strange new environment. Perhaps this will inspire a section of a story for me as well. The images currently arising in my mind are set in a deep cavern lit by lava. Occasionally, lava spouts shoot up from various geysers throughout the cavern.

Calamaistr responds:

The thought about this was of a barren wasteland with dirty snow dust floating everywhere. :)
Nice it inspires you.

Oh, this one /is/ good. I'm going to put it in my collection of music that inspires further music and stories. Even the title is thought-provoking.

Isn't it awesome for one of your own compositions to be so significant to you? :)

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thanks a lot for all these reviews Krichotomy!
I really appreciate them, as well as the fact that you're listening to the music I've made :D

It is awesome indeed :3

*slurps up all the tasty reverb*

Thanks for uploading this short track. I think it has the perfect "pensive" feel for an opening thought.

Step responds:

Woo. Yeah the reverb is so tasty isn't it. I love putting a lot of reverb on pianos. It sounds incredibly pretty.

Glad it works as intended! Thanks for reviewing man.

Lightly suspenseful, yet calm. It makes me feel very... resolute.

To add my opinion on the drums, I would dislike them to be harder. The soft drums are perfect to me.

Step responds:

Whoops... forgot to reply to this. So busyyyy.

I'm glad you like the drums! Honestly I don't think I'd ever make them louder than they currently are. I don't think they're OUT OF THIS WORLD or anything but I would like to keep them fairly soft and understated in a few of the sections.

Thanks for the review :3.

Very grief, much Halloween, such denial. That gasp shocked me, too. Nice work, and thanks for digging it up, capping it off, and sharing it with us!

Deemo-R responds:

Thank you more for taking a look at it! :3

I like it. I don't mind the thin-ness, but the bass hit is a little loud for my taste. Anyway, it's a very enjoyable composition. I loved the reversed sounds at the end.

8-bitheroes responds:

Many thanks for sharing your thoughts buddy.
