Such a warm pleasant scene. :)

wartynewt responds:

Thanks! :)

This looks exactly like a dream I haven't had yet. :3 Seriously, though, the color choices worked out well, and I love the bridge. The floating leaves are awesome, but the blowing leaves look fake since they are just concentrated in one small stream.

MaxRH responds:

Thanks. Yeah I can see where you are coming from.

I instantly saw a coral reef. I love coral reefs. :D

BenTibbetts responds:

:D I'm glad you like it.

Still looks like an iced cookie. :)

AshleyAlyse responds:

Tis tasty cookie... You vants nibble? ;) Thank you. :)

Did you freehand all the lines? If I tried to draw psyduck with a mouse, the result would look more like a rotting potato with tumors. Nice job!

AshleyAlyse responds:

I drew it with the mouse, but I zoomed in a ton and and held shift on the keyboard while I slowly made out the outline with the pencil tool, haha. The shading and such, I freehanded with the mouse. Thanks!!

Most everything looks shockingly realistic, at least without analyzing too deeply, but the horse's tail immediately stood out as looking fake to me because of the simple brush strokes, the blue thing in the background looks like a giant crumpled paper that was colored on with a crayon, and the further background... I can't even tell what it could be. I'm currently under the impression that you weren't trying to make a perfect realistic picture, but were more interested in what you could learn from imitating the photo. Anyway, amazing job recreating the realistic looks.

SkillSkillFiretruck responds:

haha. You are so right, 'a giant crumpled paper that was colored on with a crayon'
Yes, I was more interested in learning things. good review!
Cheers

Sure it's not a chaos emerald?

K-Pone responds:

Maybe. Who knows...

Nice bro! The rigid white places on the chair without glare look odd, though.

BenTibbetts responds:

Thanks. OK, I'll work on that.

This speaks to me. I don't know what it's saying though. Seriously, I really like this render.

BenTibbetts responds:

Thanks. I sort of know what you mean. I like making abstract art because it is ambiguous and that ambiguity is interesting.

Reminds me of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles special stages. Those were fun.

BenTibbetts responds:

Yes, that's a fun game.

Half-baked coder, musician, and writer. Chronically ill. Possibly a vampire. I want chocolate.
