It is a nice theme.

MeisterMach5 responds:

Thanks, Krichotomy.

I heard a MIDI of this a long time ago and was very fascinated by it. Now I know where it came from!

SourJovis responds:

It's an interesting game I think, and it doesn't take too long to complete. You can check it out if you want. It has some good music. Well composed, but it could do with better sounding instruments. That's why I made this. The midi's for this game aren't that great. I like the bell like synths in the original of this track. They have this 'tjooping' sound, like drops of water. They don't play back well with midi since the most common standards of midi don't have a sound like that. I hope I managed to approach the right sound of the original. Btw I don't use midi's made by other people for my arrangements. I rip the sound files from the game, then convert to midi to see what notes the song has, and then I recreate the song. That way I make sure any wrong notes are my own mistakes.

It's a nice track but not very characteristic/original sounding. Needs moar melody! (:

Cerzak responds:

Read the description. (:

Cool tones. I imagine a cave with numbers written on the wall, for some reason. This track sounds like some of the "Knytt Stories" music. It's making me nostalgic. :]

MrNightVarga responds:

Thank you, to be honest I had to google Knytt Stories and the soundtrack is enchanting, thanks for mentioning it. =)

A sweet sixty-two seconds! The loop point is awkward.

Sequenced responds:

ur awkward

Great atmosphere. Yay frogs. :]

Fubaka responds:

I think you'll like what this song is preluding to.

Very interesting.

I love that title "River Running Backwards'.

Fubaka responds:

I do too.

Another great track from the man of a thousand languages. The woodwind plays in somewhat a rigid way though. I'd like it to be more expressive and flowy.

I eat roce with churpsturks.

headphoamz responds:

Dur yur? Dur yur lack the way it toosts?

Nice cover. I've never played the game, but I'm quite familiar with the piece and it still manages to have memories attached to it. And, I think, even the first time I heard "To Zanarkand", it somehow felt nostalgic. It is a wonderful composition.

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Nostalgia is exacly the emotion I feel when listening to this piece. I think the same thing applies to most listeners :)
Thanks for your thoughts!

Half-baked coder, musician, and writer. Chronically ill. Possibly a vampire. I want chocolate.
